FIELD
TRAINING
Field training provides many things that are just
not available in the school.
First, it gives you a different environment in which to train. You must wear
shoes and it's likely that the surface will not be level.
Your concentration
must be more focused and you will learn to adjust to the elements (wind, rain,
heat, cold, snow, etc.). During field training you will also learn many things
about nature and gain a higher appreciation for it.
Finally, field training
provides situations, which cannot be properly simulated at school, e.g.;
obstacle course, night training, water crossings, mountaineering skills,
survival, silent movement, camouflage and more.
These situations simply cannot
be appreciated inside the school.
