for almost 10 years. I have also competed professionally on the Open Karate Circuit for many years becoming a 2 time International, and 4 time National Champion. In search for more knowledge I came across ( Kuksa Nym ) Grandmaster SungKon Lim. Immediately I was impressed with his skill and mastery of the martial arts, and knew that KUKSULDO is where I will devote my time and effort into. KUKSULDO Provides a complete balance in the martial arts encompassing both hard and soft techniques, linear and circular movements and covering all ranges of combat Long range ( weapons ), Mid range ( hand and foot strikes ), Short range ( joint manipulation, immobilization, and pressure points). In addition to all of the physical aspects (Kuksa Nym ) SungKon Lim also taught me how to develop my inner self through meditation and concentration. KUKSULDO is a complete martial art covering all areas ( Mind, Body, and Spirit ). It has helped me develop into a complete martial artist, and a better teacher. Thank you Kuksa Nym. Aaron Reis Good morning Kuksa Nym, I hope you had a good Christmas, I just checked out the new site and it looks great. Things here are going good. I was reading the student forum and saw the letter from your student in Malaysia and I agree with him meeting you has changed my life and helped me improve my martial arts skills, teaching ability, and just my overall general character. It's the way you carry yourself, confident but not cocky. Knowing you possess skills from decades of hard work, is inspiring and motivates me to train everyday so one day I can also become a master, not just in the martial arts but of myself which is one of the most important things. As I have said many times I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me, there are too many instructors, masters, and grand masters who use the martial arts for their personal gain either for their own ego or financially. Where you are a level beyond them, helping others who might not be able to afford your knowledge, but yet you make time to help them progress. Thank you. July 1, 2001 Aaron Reis |
